Issue

Launching Zend Guard in OS X terminates immediately with error message. The following is a screenshot of the full error message.

Environment

Zend Guard 6.0

OS X 10.9 (Mavericks)

Resolution

Open a terminal and issue the following command:

ln -s /Applications/Zend\ Guard\ 6.app/Contents/Resources/startup.jar /Applications/Zend\ Guard\ 6.app/Contents/MacOS/startup.jar
