Cannot install Zend Platform on Windows: Error - Can't install trial license

Symptom

The Zend Platform cannot be installed on Windows and the following error may appear during the installation:
Can't install trial license

Also, the following error message may be seen in the installation log file:
Error - Unable to install trial license utility
Aborting installation, ERROR: Can't create trial license

Technical Details

This is known issue with Symantec (or, possibly, other) Antivirus programs which threat trial.exe file (used to install the license) as a virus.

Resolution / Workaround

Temporarily disable the Antivirus online file protection system during the installation of Zend Platform

Note

This issue has been resolved in Zend Server and Zend Server CE.
