Resolution / Workaround
The Message represents one of the following:
-
The parent directory of the path name contain a symbolic link (*SYMLNK).
- From i5 command line type: CALL QP2TERM
- From the terminal session (QP2TERM) run the commands:
- View Directory = ls -al
- Remove = rm symlnk_directory
- Create directory = mkdir
Note:
After removing the SYMLNK from the directory, you can reinstall the Zend products which will create the /usr/local directory on your i5/OS PASE.
Or you can use the mkdir command to create the directory.
-
An i5/OS prerequisite LP is missing
- Check for the Zend products prerequisite i5/OS License programs, use the i5/OS command line.
- Refer to our Knowledge base for LP listing and required PTF level for each i5/OS V5R3-V5R4.
Note:
For a more information on correcting the SYMLINK directory error, please refer to article: [Zend Core will not install. QM.0003 in QTEMP was not restored.]
Proper installation of Zend Products for i5/OS requires that all the Pre-Requisite LP be installed and all PTF appliied.
